IPL 2017: MS Dhoni came out and saved the innings for his team yet another time, in the first qualifier of Indian Premier League 2017 (IPL 2017) between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant.
Pune were in a spot of bother after losing early wicket, when MS Dhoni walked in. Dhoni hasn’t been in the best of form but he played a crucial innings in the big match and proved why he is still one of the best in the world. It was a typical Dhoni knock as the former Indian captain smashed 5 big sixes and changed the entire scenario of the match.
Dhoni batted for 26 balls and scored 40 runs, including 5 big sixes. But there was one six that stood. Dhoni advanced down the track to hit MI’s Karn Sharma for a huge hit over deep mid-wicket boundary. It was sheer power as Dhoni kept his head down and whacked it over the deep mid-wicket boundary for a gigantic six. Watch it here:
