Australian all-rounder Shane Watson was sold for Rs. 9.5 crore in the Indian Premier League 2016 (IPL9) auctions. Watson has been a consistent performer in the IPL right from its inaugural season and this time will play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, along with Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
