IPL 2015: 5 Reasons Why The CSK vs DD Match Is Going to be an Absolute Blast

The second match of the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) promises to be a close encounter between the Delhi Daredevils and the Chennai Super Kings. Playing at home, today we look at 5 reasons why this match is going to be an absolute hummdinger!

1. New Delhi Daredevils side: The Delhi Daredevils are a completely new side with fresh new faces. The management had decided to change the personnel of the team from last season to provide the necessary impetus to move forward from the woes of the last season. Nobody knows the true potential of the team as yet and they can prove to be quite a handful for the Chennai Super Kings.

2. Yuvraj facing Dhoni after his father’s accusation: After Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj’s public rant against MS Dhoni in the media, this will be their first encounter when they come face to face. It will be interesting to see if there is any sort of animosity between the two on the field and off it. One thing is for sure, there will be sparks flying either from the bats or in the form of verbals!

3.  Indian ‘Yellow’ vs South African ‘Blue’: The Chennai Super Kings team consists of a core of players which is full of Indians; with the likes of Raina, Ashwin, Jadeja and Mohit Sharma being a part of the Indian one day outfit as well. The Delhi Daredevils on the other hand have a South African core consisting of De Kock, Tahir, JP Duminy and Albie Morkel. It will be interesting to see which “country’ comes out on top.

4. The ‘Yuvraj Singh’ factor: The most expensive player in the history of IPL with a price tag of 16 crores, Yuvraj Singh will be the cynosure of all things cricket come this evening. Looking to make a comeback to the Indian sqaud, the World Cup winning allrounder from Punjab will be eager to prove a point and will be raring to go.

5. Chennai Crowd: The matches in Chennai always bring in massive support. The yellow brigade will be right behind their team and captain MS Dhoni. The IPL is all about crowds and bringing the masses to the stadium and the more the noise in the stands, the more the excitement on the field.

Lights. Camera. Action. Let’s cricket.
