Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma recently grabbed headlines for all the controversial reasons that are known to everyone. She had confronted batting legend Sunil Gavaskar for making a personal remark on her during an IPL match between RCB and KXIP.
Anushka had called the controversial remark of Sunil Gavaskar distasteful. But the latter then had clarified that he in no way wanted to disrespect Anushka or has blamed the actress for Virat’s performance. On Monday, Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians in the 10th match of IPL. The match turned out to be a thriller-one as the fan witnessed a pulsating contest after the match ended up in a tie, leading to a Super-Over.
With the game heading towards Super-Over, RCB’s Navdeep Saini kept MI on their toes as he only gave away 7 runs and also took the wicket of Kieron Pollard. Later on, the dynamic duo of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli walked out to bat in the Super-Over for RCB. Virat Kohli sealed the victory with a stunning four.
Later, as Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match, his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram and shared a heartfelt post expressing her excitement after RCB’s win.
In her post, Anushka shared a few glimpses of the team members including Kohli himself celebrating their win. Sharing the pictures, she posted a message that read:
“Phew! Too exciting a game for a pregnant lady (sic). What a team this one.”
