AB de Villiers Has Finally Hinted Towards Making A Comeback

Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers turned the clock back as he gave a thrilling performance by scoring a half-century during the 3TC Solidarity Cup in Centurion. During the event, AB de Villiers lead Takealot Eagles toppled Temba Bavuma MR D Food Kites and Reeza Hendricks’ team Outsurance Kingfishers.




After an amazing performance, AB de Villiers was asked about his international return to the game. Responding to this, De Villiers said that he hopes he returns soon but he also cited that he doesn’t know what to expect. AB de Villiers revealed that while nothing has been scheduled yet but he is keen to go out there and play. He revealed:

“Let’s hope so. I don’t know what to expect to be honest. It’s been a quiet few months and nothing has been really properly scheduled but I would just like to get out there and play cricket,”

AB de Villiers further revealed while the cricketing brains take decisions on the schedules, but he has been keeping himself fit and practice cricket. He said:




“That’s what ultimately it is about. There is a lot of talk, but for the meantime I will stay fit in the gym and make sure I hit cricket balls and stay in form. The rest depends on the organisers and other uncontrollables like the virus‚ so hopefully it moves on and we can get back to as normal as possible in no time,”

AB de Villiers decided to hang up his boots in the year 2018 after featuring in 114 Tests, 228 ODIs, and 78 T20s for the South African cricket team.

Meanwhile, AB de Villiers was all set to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League.
