Australian cricket media channel, Fox Cricket, has followed the trend of picking all-time XIs, but they have given a unique twist to the tradition. Instead of choosing the best XI, they have selected a team featuring the worst tailenders of all time.

Unsurprisingly, New Zealand’s former fast bowler, Chris Martin, is the captain of this squad, which also features two Indian bowlers. Speaking of the skipper first, Martin represented his nation in all the three formats of the game.

Although he performed decently with the ball, he had batting averages of 2.37, 1.33, and 0.00 in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, respectively. These numbers highlight the fact that the Christchurch-based player was present in the batting unit to make up the numbers.

The list also contains former Australian pacer, Glenn McGrath, and his compatriot, Bruce Reid. Just like Martin, these two bowlers did not enjoy any success with the bat. However, the FOX officials have surprisingly picked Ajit Agarkar in their team.

The former Indian pacer has a Test hundred to his name, a century that he recorded at the Mecca of cricket, Lord’s. Also, he once held the record for the fastest fifty by an Indian player. Still, FOX named him as one of the worst Indian tail-enders.

The other Indian name to find a place in the team is Jasprit Bumrah. Unlike Agarkar, the Mumbai Indians star has not recorded high scores with the bat, but he had once slammed Pat Cummins for a six during an ODI match between India and Australia.

Two players from Zimbabwe, namely Pommie Mbangwa and Henry Olonga, are present in the team along with West Indian legend Courtney Walsh. The English trio of Monty Panesar, Phil Tufnell, and Devon Malcolm complete the XI. Much to the shock of the fans, there are no names from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or South Africa in the XI.
