The right-handed batsman turned his career around and emerged out as one of the prolific leading run-scorer in all three formats of the game combined this decade. In all the three formats of the game, Virat Kohli played 380 international matches where he amassed a total of 20,960 runs. He scored 8818 in Tests, 11036 in ODIs and 2450 in T20Is.

Virat Kohli has successfully retained the top seats of the ICC Rankings for batsmen in both the Test and ODI formats. And as far as the shortest format of the game is concerned, Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer.

Only Batsman With Average Over 50:

Virat Kohli is the only batsman in the history of the sport to average over 50 in all three formats of the game. In 2016, Virat averaged above 50, but at present his averages are 54.97, 60.02 and 52.66 in Tests, ODIs and T20I respectively.

Fastest To Reach 20000 Mark:

Virat Kohli reached the 20,000-run milestone in international cricket during the 50-over World Cup in England. He became the fastest cricketer to reach that mark by breaking the records of the greatest of alls – Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara.

While Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara took 453 innings to reach the milestone and Ricky Ponting got to 20000 international runs in 468 innings. On the other hand, Virat Kohli achieved this in only his 417th innings.

Most 100s:

There’s nothing as joyful as watching. Virat Kohli is the cricketer who scored the most 100s in this decade, i.e, 69 centuries, from which he smashed 42 centuries in ODIs and 27 in Tests.

Most 50s:

Virat Kohli also became the cricketer to have scored the most number of the 50s throughout the decade. He smashed 98 half-centuries throughout the decade.

Most 200s:

Well, if there’s anything more exciting and interesting than watching Virat Kohli hitting a century then it has to be him hitting a double century. He has scored a double century 7 times.

Most 4s:

2,090, this is the number of times when Virat made the ball reach to all the corners of the ground.

Most Man Of The Match Awards:

Virat is the proud winner of the Man of the Match Awards most number of times. He has been awarded MoM award 56 times.

Most Man of The Series Awards:

When he gives thrilling performances throughout the series, he surely deserves more of the Man of the match series. He has been awarded the Man Of The Series award 17 times in this decade.
