Rohit Sharma Got Trolled By CSK After His Poor Performance In First Match

The festive season of cricket is finally back and it has already got the nation crazy. Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians and MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings are locking their horns against each other in the season opener.

Before the match kickstarted, MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to field first. Rohit looked disappointed at the toss but he kicked off the IPL 2020 season in style with a four.
The innings kickstarted with a stunning cover drive by Mumbai Indians. The ball had four written all over it as soon as it hit the sweet spot of Rohit Sharma’s bat. In the next over, the Hitman Sharma was at it again as he executed another perfect boundary on the bowling of Sam Curran.
“Looks like he has been batting all these 6 months. Terrific start to IPL 2020,” This is what the former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar said after he was left awestruc by stunning four by Rohit Sharma.

However, the joy ended soon as the fans were left disappointed after Rohit Sharma went back to pavilion. He miscaculated a shot in the first over of veteran spinner Piyush Chawla and ended up giving a simple catch to Sam Curran on mid-off. Rohit Sharma went back to pavilion at a score of 12 runs only.

Soon after Rohit Sharma walked back to the pavilion, social media was already flooded with reactions from the fans of both the giant teams. While there were many who were disappointed with the dismissal of Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, a wave of happiness went through the CSK fans, who just can’t stop trolling the Hitman Sharma for his performance.
