On Wednesday, the legendary cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar took to his twitter and urged the micro-blogging site Twitter to suspend to take action against a fake profile impersonating his son Arjun Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar clarified his followers that his son Arjun Tendulkar and daughter Sara Tendulkar are not on Twitter. He also claimed that the account impersonating his son Arjun is posting malicious tweets against personalities and institutions. He wrote:
“I wish to clarify that my son Arjun & daughter Sara are not on Twitter,” Tendulkar wrote on Twitter.
The account @jr_tendulkar is wrongfully impersonating Arjun and posting malicious tweets against personalities & institutions. Requesting @TwitterIndia to act on this as soon as possible”

The fake profile reported by Sachin Tendulkar in his Tweet has Arjun Tendulkar’s action image as profile photo as his profile photo and an image of Arjun at Lord’s as the cover photo.
The first thing that you will notice in the fake profile is his bio that reads: “Official. Left Arm Medium Pacer. Son of God.”
As a result of Sachin Tendulkar’s tweet, the fake account was suspended in no time. Twitterati were irked with this new revelation and started requesting Twitter to suspend the fake account. Here, have a look at the reaction of twitterati on this:
