The second T20 international between India and Bangladesh in Rajkot became an eye-treat for Rohit Sharma’s fans. After Bangladesh won the first T20 international in Delhi, Rohit Sharma came out with blazing guns on a mission to take his team on the victory side.

Chasing a target of 154 runs, Rohit Sharma smashed the bowlers of Bangladesh to all the corners of the ground. Playing a powerful knock of 85 runs off 43 balls, he smashed 6 fours and 6 sixes.

However, apart from his power-packed performance, something happened that stole the limelight.  ‘Hitman Sharma’ who has always remained clam showed his angry side last night. The stand-by skipper was seen abusing and gesturing at the third umpire in the 13th over when the third umpire gave Soumya Sarkar not out in a decision. However, he changed the decision later to ‘out’.

Rohit Sharma was not at all happy with the goof-up and he was seen raising his hand at the TV umpire and uttering something. After the match, Rohit Sharma was asked about the same moment, to which he said:

“I’m quite an emotional guy on the field. Some of the decisions in the previous and some of the on-field moments today, we were a bit sloppy. Ultimately the aim is to get the job done, and sometimes we display a lot of emotions. Next time I’ll check where the camera is (laughs).”

Talking about his knock, Rohit Sharma said that with so much of dew coming in, all his focus was to stay back in the crease. He said:

“We knew with the dew coming in, it will be slightly difficult for the bowlers. We had a good powerplay and just carried on from that start. I knew the conditions were perfect. All I wanted to do was stay still and tonk the ball. It’s been very good so far and just wanted to finish it off on a good note. Looking forward to that.”
