A match-winning knock from Mushfiqur Rahim turned the tables for Bangladesh cricket team and made history as they won their first-ever T20I against India.

Having been put in to bat first, India had a bad start to the game as Shafiul Islam removed skipper Rohit with a slower ball. But it didn’t backfire completely and India somehow managed to score 148 with Shikhar Dhawan scoring 41, KL Rahul scoring 15, and Shreyas Iyer scoring 22, giving a brief scare to Tigers.

Just like India, Bangladesh’s cricketers weren’t lucky enough to get a great start, however, players like Mohammad Naim, Mahmadullah, Somya Sarkar and Mushfiqur turned the tables.

Mushfiqur Rahim(60) turned out to be the hero of the match and he made sure to remain unbeaten till the end. Soumya Sarkar(39) and Mahmudullah(15) also supported him with their cameos, as the Tigers rose towards the victory against the Indians.

As soon as Bangladesh’s team won the match, Bangladeshi fans started trolling Virender Sehwag for his latest advertisement.

Well, if you aren’t aware then before the match, Virender Sehwag featured in an advertisement for Star Sports where he called out the visitors for not winning a single T20I match against India. In the advertisement, he can be seen taking a sly dig at the Tigers for losing consecutively against the Men in Blues in the past.

Therefore when Bangladesh’s cricket team won the match, the fans started trolling Virender Sehwag left, right and center for his advertisement and for taking a dig at the Tigers. Here, have a look at some of the reactions of twitterati:
