MSK Prasad, the chairman of selectors has finally made it clear with his indirect words that MS Dhoni is no more an automatic choice in the Indian squad. Speculations are on heights over MS Dhoni’s retirement ever since the World Cup ended in July this year.
The former Indian skipper played his last international match against New Zealand in the semi-final of the World Cup. As soon as the world cup was over, he took a sabbatical from the game and kept on extending it.

Fans of MS Dhoni are waiting anxiously for the former skipper to make a comeback but there is still no clarity over when will he return to action. But seems like the selectors have already made up their minds over his career.
The Chairman of selectors MSK Prasad made it clear that they are ‘moving on’ and will now back the youngsters. After announcing the squads for the upcoming series against Bangladesh, he said:
“We are moving on.”
He added: “Going into domestic cricket, getting his touch back or thoughts about retirement, everything is purely his personal [decision].”
“We’ve already laid the roadmap for the future, I’m sure you can see in the way we are selecting the teams. We definitely had a chat with Dhoni and he also endorses our view of backing youngsters,” he added.
