There’s no denying to the fact that the Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is no more an automatic choice in the Indian squad. Ravindra Jadeja made his comeback in T20Is during the series against West Indies in August this year, after spending nearly one and a half years away from the T20I side.

Ravindra Jadeja played all three games against West Indies and all thanks to his amazing performances, he retained his place in the team for the home series against South Africa. Playing against South Africa, he picked up one wicket and scored 19 runs with the bat.

However, he failed to retain his place in the team for the upcoming three-match series against Bangladesh.

Explaining the reason for his exclusion from Team India, chief selector MSK Prasad said that he was dropped because he offers similar playing skill-set as Krunal Pandya.

Going by this logic seems like Jadeja is unlikely to get a call any time soon. His statements also reflect the future of Ravindra Jadeja and the current position, where he stands in T20Is. On the other hand, Krunal Pandya looks all set for the T20I World Cup 2020.

Krunal Pandya, who made his debut during the Australia Tour last year, has been a regular in the squad since then.
