The last few years have been worse for the BCCI, with allegations like corruption, spot-fixing scandals, the involvement of politicians, etc making rounds every now and then. However, BCCI has always emerged out as one of the strongest boards in the world.
Now with the appointment of Sourav Ganguly as the new President of BCCI, it has come as a new ray of hope. It is very rare that we see fans getting excited and optimistic about changes in the administration.

Sourav Ganguly, who is known as the godfather of the modern day cricket, transformed the game when he was given the captaincy with his strong decisions. And now people are expecting the same transformation in the cricket board as well.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni, who is currently out of action for a long time, is keeping his silence over his future plans. He has not played in the last two international series against the West Indies and South Africa. He is also set to miss the upcoming series against Bangladesh.

However, the new BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is all set to put an end to Dhoni’s silence. He has also made it clear that he would like to know the national selection committee’s plans about the same.
At the same time, Sourav Ganguly also said that he would like to talk to MS Dhoni and know about his views. He further said that he will talk to selectors on 24th October, a day after the election ends. He said:
“I will find out from the selectors when I meet them on October 24. We will find out what the selectors are thinking and then I will put forth my opinion. We will have to see what Dhoni wants. I will also speak to him what he wants to do and what he does not want to do.”
He added: “Since I was not in the picture, it may be a case that it’s not clear with me as of now. Now I am in a position to find out and then will decide on the way forward.”
Following this news, fans have flooded social media with their reactions to this. The social media is now divided into two parts, while the fans of Dhoni are being optimistic, on the other hand, some of them are waiting for Dhoni’s exit from the team.

“It will be good to see ganguly kicking Dhoni out of the team”
You can’t ‘kick’ someone out of the team who hasn’t been playing cricket voluntarily since 4 months.

Twitter often gets confused who ended Ganguly’s career, MS Dhoni or Greg Chappell. Waiting for 2050 when it will be Virat Kohli. ??
