New Zealand’s Rugby Team Trolls ICC On Twitter After Their Match Against SA Ended In A Draw

It’s already been a couple of weeks since the World Cup 2019 campaign came to an end. However, people, especially New Zealanders are still not able to get over the controversial ending of the finale between England and New Zealand.

Over the past few days, New Zealanders have been trolling the International Cricket Council (ICC) for their ‘weird’ rules. And this time the trolling came from “All Blacks”– the New Zealand rugby team.

In a final game in ‘The Rugby Championship’, New Zealand was playing against South Africa. The game ended in a draw as both All Blacks and Springboks had 16 points each to their tally. The result of the game was shared by All Blacks on Twitter but in a hilarious way.

The official handle of New Zealand’s rugby team took a dig at ICC and wrote that there wasn’t any count back on the boundaries. They wrote:

“No count back on boundaries in Wellington. It’s a draw. Thanks for an epic Test@Springboks. #NZLvRSA #BACKBLACK,”

Check out their tweet:

Back then, it was really an unlucky day for the New Zealanders as they lost the World Cup trophy, going by the maximum number of boundaries’ rule.
