Yuvraj Singh’s father and former Indian cricketer, Yograj Singh have been making a lot of news for a past few days. He made headlines when he directly blamed MS Dhoni for India’s defeat in Semi-Finals of World Cup against New Zealand.

Apart from blaming Dhoni for team’s loss, Yograj Singh also went ahead and blamed Dhoni for destroying the career of his son, Yuvraj Singh. Blaming Dhoni for loss, he had said:

“Mr. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, you have played so much cricket. Don’t you have any sense about what to do and what not? Did Yuvraj ever tell any other player to play the shots as you do? You got so many half-volleys, you hit huge sixes, what happened to you at that moment? Were you worried? You should have got out. What difference would it have made?”

However, now in a surprising turn of events, Yograj Singh has taken a sensational U-turn and said that he never blamed Dhoni for India’s defeat. In fact he said that he is a fan of MS Dhoni while terming him as ‘legendary player’.

Yograj Singh showered praises on MS Dhoni and said that the former skipper has been really good with his decisions. He said:

“I never said this. I never blamed MS Dhoni for the loss. It is not my version. You have asked the wrong question to the wrong person. There is no doubt that he has been serving the nation for a long time. He is a legendary player. In fact, I am Dhoni’s fan. The way he has played the cricket, the way he has led the side, the kind of decisions he has taken, has been very good,”
