The controversial ‘Monkey Gate’ incident that took place in Sydney is regarded as one of the ugliest incident to have took place in the history of cricket world. Just when, the fans thought that the incident had been burned down, ten years later it has came to haunt again.
Well, recently Symonds made some big statements by saying that Harbhajan Singh apologized to him and broke down for his controversial remarks on the cricketer, when the duo shared the dressing room together playing for Mumbai Indians. He said :
“Harbhajan went on to apologize me, my family and friends for causing any harm. And he actually broke down crying, and I could just see that was a huge weight off his shoulders, he had to get rid of it. We shook hands and I gave him a hug and said: ‘Mate, it’s all good. It’s dealt with’.”

However, Harbhajan Singh as now come out and lashed out on him refusing what all he said. Bhajji questioned the authenticity of any such incident, that Symonds mentioned during the interview.
Here, have a look at the reaction of Harbhajan Singh on his statements :

Harbhajan Singh posted another tweet slamming Symonds for his statements about him. In his tweet, he took a dig at him by calling him a fiction writer. Here, have a look at the tweet of Harbhajan Singh lashing out at Symonds :
I thought he was a very good cricketer but Symonds has turned out to be a good fiction writer – he sold a story then (2008) and he is ‘selling a story’ now (2018). Mate, the world has come of age in these 10 years and it’s time you also grew up
