The Indian cricket team couldn’t emerge out as victorious in the first of the three T20i match against Australia, as they failed to chase the target of 174 runs.The match had a thrilling finish and India lost the match by only four runs. The Australian team is currently leading the score chart by 1-0.

In the first innings, from India’s side, Kuldeep Yadav gave a brilliant performance as he took two wickets in the match and also took an amazing catch to dismiss D’Arcy Short, that left everyone stunned. Kuldeep Yadav googlies were once again on display as he dismissed the Australian skipper Aaron Finch and Chris Lynn.

It seemed that the Indian cricket team will win the match easily but God has his own plans as the rains interrupted the match. Because of the rains the match was stopped amidst as Australia posted 158 for 4 in 17 overs, the target for India was readjusted to 174 according to DLS method.
During the rain-break, Michael Clarke, the former cricketer,while talking to Harsha Bhogle was all praises for Kuldeep Yadav. Talking about him he said if he was the skipper of India, he would have picked Kuldeep as his number one spinner instead of R.Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. He said :
“If I am India, I am picking Kuldeep Yadav ahead of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja as my number one spinner at Adelaide”.
