Cricket has always been the most loved and celebrated sports of all times. The game of generations had involved many father-son duos. In this article we bring you 10 father-son duos, have a look :

  1. Nawab Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi and Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi :

The Nawabs of Pataudi have played many matches for the Indian cricket team. The senior Nawab played a total of 6 Test matches and went on to score a century in his debut match for India. He is the only player to have played for both India and England. His son, Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi has also played an instrumental part in the Indian cricket team and was one of the finest cricketers. He became the youngest test captain.

2. Lala and Mohinder Amarnath:

Lala Amarnath was the finest all-rounders of his time. He became the first cricketer to score a century in Test match. His both the sons, Surinder and Mohinder Amarnath were cricketers and this father-son duo were the only duo to score a century in their debut matches. However, his younger son Mohinder Amarnath was one of the most talented players, he played a crucial role in the World Cup 1983. He became man of the match in both the semi-finale and finale match in World cup.
