Brett Lee Backs Virat Kohli Before The Big Australia Tour Ahead

The UK Tour of Indian cricket team started with a bang with a couple of victories in their account. The team is currently locking their horns with England in the ODI series. Later, in the year, Indian cricket team will be having series in Australia.

The former Australian bowler Brett Lee has backed the skipper of Indian cricket team to have a successful series in Australia, later this year.

Virat Kohli had a glorious tour to Australia in the year 2014. He scored four centuries in four test matches. Kohli scored 692 with an average of 89.50. The fans are expecting Kohli to repeat his previous tour performance.

Brett has come in support of Virat Kohli and believes that he has an immense hunger for scoring runs. Talking about Virat Kohli, to foxsports.com.au where he unveiled himelf as a Fox Sports cricket commentator, he said :

“Kohli has a lot to prove and he will prove this year why he’s so good,” 

He added:
“Kohli will have a massive year this year. I think he will get hundreds because I’ve never seen a guy so hungry.”

On the other hand, Pat Cummins has made a bold prediction that Virat Kohli will not be able to make a solidarity century. Yes you read that right. During the channel 7 function, he said:

“My brave, bold prediction; I’d say I think Virat Kohli is not going to get a hundred and we’re going to knock them off over here,”

However, Glenn McGrath feels that it’s Australian bowlers that bowlers now need to build some pressure on Kohli because they are getting the better put pf the Indian skipper. He said :

“I want to see Australians put pressure on Kohli and just see how he handles it,” 

He added :

“Kohli has got a bit of an aggressive attitude. But showed last time he was out here he’s not going to take a backward step. It’s going to be an interesting summer. If you get on top of them, the No.1 player and their captain, it makes the job so much easier.”
