During the match, Chris Gayle showed some really amazing athletic skills and enthralled the audience with a spectacular reflex-catch at King City in Toronto. It is a very rare sight when we see Chris Gayle diving on the ground to take a catch. The team emerged out to be the Champions of the inaugural edition of the tournament.

The catch happened at the 12th over when Anthony Bramble’s team were tottering at 87/6. He desperately needed a partnership, this is when Kavem Hodge came to bat and scored 16 runs with a couple of boundaries. Unfortunately, his next shot came out as a big blow for the team as it landed straight in the hands of Chris Gayle.

Hodge made an initial moment and tried hitting the shot with full power, however, the delivery wasn’t full enough to be driven. Chris Gayle stuck his left hand out and went for a dive, however the ball fell from his left hand but Chris Gayle was steady enough to take his right arm and catch the ball. The shot made every member of the team ecstatic as it turned out to be a big wicket for them.
