T20 cricket hasn’t had much glory to offer to the bowlers for it’s a format that would mostly be dominated by the batsmen. It’s a ruthless format for the bowlers for the margin of error is almost negligible. A slight mistake and the ball would disappear into the stands and T20 format is such that every run or every dot ball counts.

But still some bowlers have been brave and have got themselves heaps go wickets in the shortest format of international cricket. These are the leading wicket takers in T20 internationals.

On top of the list is Pakistan’s former skipper Shahid Afridi with 97 wickets from 98 matches. Following Afridi on the list is Lasith Malinga with 90 wickets from 68 matches. Surprisingly there’s no Indian on the list of top 10 wicket takers in T20 International.
