Virat Kohli is unstoppable at this point in time and he’s smashed almost every batting record like a king. Milestones have become synonymous to Kohli’s name and he’s going in stature with every match. Here comes yet another milestone Kohli’s way and this is the first ever achieved by an Indian.
Kohli becomes first Indian to go past 900 ratings
The Indian captain has retained his first spot in the latest ODI rankings but that’s not only. Virat Kohli now has ratings of 909 in ODI rankings as published by ICC. Virat Kohli is now the only Indian to ever go past 900 points in ICC ratings.
The last time someone crossed 900 points in ICC ODI rankings was 27 years ago. Yes, you heard it right! Last time a batsman crossed 900 points in ICC ratings was in 1991 and it was Dean Jones.
Virat Kohli (909) has become the first India batsman to go above the 900 ratings mark in the ICC ODI Rankings.
Also the highest ratings achieved by any batsman in the last 27 years. That is since Dean Jones in 1991. #KingKohli
