India’s winning streak was brought to a halt at Johannesburg when the hosts won their first game in the ongoing series. The series is now well poised with India leading 3-1. Its the Indian spinners who have been sensational in India’s dominance in the ongoing series.
But the South Africans finally broke the ice in the 4th ODI and the Indian spinners went for plenty. HAVE THE PROTEAS SOLVED THE MYSTERY OF THE WRIST SPINNERS?
We have now got measure of Indian spinners: South Africa
Pacer Phehlukwayo feels that the hosts have now got a measure of the Indian spinners. It was Phehlukwayo along with David Miller and Klassen who assaulted Indian spinners in Johannesburg and got South Africa to its first win.
Here is what he said

“We have a good momentum now from the last game we played. We have come really far that victory because the guys have been working really hard in the nets and we have been very specific about our training”
The South African further added
“We were looking to be positive now. We got into good positions and tried to pick the ball, watch the ball and played really straight,”
SOUTH AFRICA LOOKS TO BE POSITIVE: Phehlukwayo
“We have been doing good analysis and have good game plans. Obviously, the conditions were different. So it’s a game plan that we have had in our change room, to be really positive, look to score and get into good positions,”
SOUTH AFRICA’s GAMEPLAN

The bowler also talked about South Africa’s gameplan. He said that they are looking forward to exposing India’s middle order and see how it performs. Here is what he said
If you take game by game, obviously they’ve been batting really well. It would be really nice to expose their middle order and hopefully see what they can do. At the same time, we don’t want to really look too forward.”
Can India win the next game and seal the series? The fifth ODI will get underway very soon.
