After the much exciting Under 19 World Cup came to an India, the team of the tournament has been announced. Indians have dominated the tournament all through and have authoritatively defeated all opponents to lift the trophy.

Indian young lads made the nation amply proud with their scintillating performances all through the tournament. India thrashed Australia by 8 wickets to win the world cup.

INDIANS STARS SHINED THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT

It was an Indian show of skill and strength all through the tournament. Shubman Gill won the prestigious ‘Man Of The Tournament’ award for his great run of form in the tournament. He was the leading run scorer having scored 372 runs. But the captain of this team is not the captain who won the world cup for India.

5 INDIANS IN THE TEAM

There are five Indians in the team. Prithvi Shaw, Manoj Kalra, Shubhman gill make the top three batsmen of the team. In the bowling department, Ankul Roy and Kamlesh Nagarkoti have found spots for themselves.

WHO IS THE CAPTAIN?

There are quite a few good prospects for the captaincy in this team. But its Raynard Van Tonder from South Africa has been named as the skipper. Raynard scored 348 runs in the tournament.

Even the Wicketkeeper is from South Africa. Wandile Makwetu from South Africa has been chosen as the wicket keeper of this team. Wandile scored 184 runs in the tournament and inflicted 11 dismissals.
