This young duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are winning accolades far too many. You only got to say that they deserve every ounce of the praise that has come their way. Not just at home but even in the first ODI in South Africa they have proved their worth.

While Kuldeep Yadav picked up 3 wickets for 34 in the first ODI, Chahal scalped two wickets for 45. Clearly, they have declared that they are lions not just in their backyard but at any ground and any sort of pitch.

The two made sure that South Africa loses wickets regularly and they played a key role in limiting South Africa to a modest total. The entire cricket fraternity looks in awe of this wonderful pair of wrist spinners.

Ashwin played his last ODI in June 2017 which is almost a year ago. Ravindra Jadeja, on the other hand, played his last ODI for India in July 2017.

Has The Chahal-Kuldeep Duo Closed The Doors For Ashwin and Jadeja In ODIs and T20Is Forever?

Given how Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are growing in stature each day, the road to come back to India’s limited overs squad seems almost devastated for Ashwin and Jadeja.
