At Cape Town, after dismissing South Africa for just 130 in the second innings the pacers gave India a really good chance to start the tour on the winning note. Even at the Centurion, the Indian pacers restricted South Africa to just 258 in the second innings giving India yet another chance to equal the series. But the batting debacles have cost India the match.

The cricket fraternity is all praises for Indian pacers who have bothered the Proteas in both the innings. The stalwart South African Cricketer, AB De Villiers has also an extended appreciation for the Indian pacers. AB De Villiers has been in sublime touch and has piled up 200 runs already in the two test matches. AB De Villiers said, “We have tried to do that over the last few test matches but the wicket didn’t allow it and some good bowling as well. Credit goes to Indian bowlers.”

ABD Has Special Appreciation For Kohli

Not just the Indian bowlers but AB De Villiers also heaped praises for the Indian Skipper. Taking about Kohli’s century in the first innings at Centurion, AB De Villiers said, “Virat’s Knock was very very good. I did congratulate him afterward.”

With this series loss, India’s streak of 9 series win has finally been broken by South Africa and you got to say that they outdid India in all departments of the game. India did put up a fight in the first innings with the captain playing a staggering knock of 153 but in the second innings, no Indian batsman could go past 50.
