After the long tour of South Africa comes to an end on February 24, Virat Kohli and his men will be flying to Sri Lanka to play T20 Tri series. The tri series will be played between India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The BCCI has confirmed the fixtures.
The tri series of T20 internationals between India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will commence from March 6. The ‘Nidhas’ as it is being called will be played as a part of the celebrations of completion of 70 years of Sri Lanka’s independence.
Format Of The Tournament
The tournament will be played in a round robin manner between the three nations. This means that these teams would play twice against each other before two teams finally make it to the finals. Given India’s limited overs performance in recent times this seems like a cake walk for India.

All these matches will be played in Colombo at the Premadasa Stadium. The final of the tournament will be played on March 18th between the two teams qualifying for the finals.
This is how the fixtures of the T20 Tri Series have been fixed
