Twitter is all confused and erupted as star pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been made to sit out in the second test. The second test between India and South Africa will kickstart at Centurion today and it came a surprise to everyone when Bhuvneshwar was dropped from the second test.
Virat Kohli chose to go for Ishant Sharma over Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
It’s a decision hard to digest and Twitter is exploding with its take on Virat Kohli’s decision. Shikhar Dhawan and Wriddhiman Saha too have been left out. While KL Rahul takes Shikhar Dhawan’s place, Saha has lost his place to Parthiv Patel.
But these changes were much anticipated and certain however, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s exclusion comes as a strange surprise. Surely the fans are angry over the Skipper for leaving out his best weapon.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was just exceptional in the first game and was among wickets right from the word go. Right in the first innings of the Cape Town he destroyed the South African top order leaving them striving at 12/3 and unleashed a havoc at the Proteas.
Twitter is asking the skipper as to how can he make someone sit out who’s been a star performer in the first game. Twitter is being flooded with reactions about Bhuvi’s exclusion. Ajinkya Rahane too has been left out as Virat Kohli decided to persist with Rohit Sharma despite his miserable performance in the first test.
Here’s how Twitter is slamming the skipper
Ishant is a decent bowler and can produce a match winning spell. But, why Bhuvneshwar? Why not Bumrah? #SAvIND #Cricket

The management is as confused as a teenager in a strip club. https://t.co/3bj8iOe3ou

Dropping Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an even bigger decision than demonetisation.

#Rohit over #Rahane because of his century and current form. Rahane plays well on bouncy tracks? Doesn’t matter.#Ishanth over #Bhuvi because of the bounce. Current form and 6 wicket haul doesn’t matter.
Kohli+Shastri = Arrogance of the highest quality. #INDvSA @sunilreddy1208

Seriously surprised at the exclusion of #Bhuvi from the playing XI. Ishant is always a gamble. Hope it pays off.

Best bowler in the last match is actually dropped #SAvIND #Bhuvi pic.twitter.com/MO3mB8OsLe

The man who gave India a dream start at Newlands and dug deep with the bat is dropped. Baffling selection. #Bhuvi

Indian bowlers might be in dilemma. If they will take wickets, they will be dropped and if they won’t, India will lose the series. #MistermindShastri #Bhuvi #SAvIND

What’s the reason for dropping #Bhuvi? One of the most consistent bowlers who has always struck early is dropped. Poor selection calls. #SAvIND

Best bowler of the last match is actually dropped. Makes no sense. Bring #bhuvi back ?

How can you drop #Bhuvi? Presently he knows how to take wickets whatever wicket may be and filled with confidence. #AsktheExpert @SPN_Cricket
