Dale Steyn was making a comeback to test cricket after an year and he was right on the money from ball one. But on the second day of the Cape Town Test he had to walk off the field leaving his over between. Initially it seemed like as if Dale Steyn has an issue with his shoe and that’s why he walked off. But later he did not come out for long and wasn’t seen on the field even after the tea break. Then later people got to the actual issue through the update posted by Cricket South Africa.

If Dale Steyn doesn’t comeback even in the second innings then it might be a big leverage to India but at the same time a major loss for the hosts since Dale Steyn is the spearhead of the South African pace attack.

The Cape Town Test has been pretty exciting so far with two innings coming to an end in first two days. After the hosts managed only 286 in the first innings, Indian top order stumbled too and India’s batting looked like a big havoc.
