As India gears up for the all important tour of South Africa there’s this great speculation that Kohli might pick just one of the two ace Indian spinners.

Since the pitches in South Africa hardly offer any assistance to spinners, the selection committee and the coach might take just one spinner rather than taking Ashwin and Jadeja both. South African pitches are more suitable for pacers and Kohli would be well aware of that.
When Jadeja was asked about this he acted all calm and chilled out. He said that he’s not thinking about it much and would respect whatever decision is taken by the captain and the selectors. ‘Sir Jadeja’ answered the questions pertaining to this speculation with great composure and sportsman spirit. He was then asked that if he was the captain who would he choose between him and Ashwin.
Ravindra Jadeja Was Asked What Will You Do If You Become The Captain.
To this question he first laughed and said that if he was the captain he’d be just bowling endlessly from one end and would never stop. Further talking about the speculation he said, “ I can only control the controllable. When I get an opportunity, I will try to do well.” On the first day of the second test with Sri Lanka, Jadeja and Ashwin shared 7 wickets among them. Jadeja picked 3 and Ashwin got 4 A’s Sri Lanka was all out for 205. Ravindra Jadeja also praised pacers Umesh and Ishant for bowling superbly.
