MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are very good friends, on and off the field. Virat made his debut under Dhoni and soon established himself as one of the most important members of the Indian cricket team.

Now, MS Dhoni has stepped down from captaincy and a new ‘aggressive’ era of Indian cricket has started under the leadership of Virat Kohli. While MS Dhoni is a very calm and cool character on the field who doesn’t show too many emotions on the field, Virat Kohli is a very expressive cricketer who doesn’t hold himself back on the field.

Recently, Virat Kohli gave a very candid interview to Gaurav Kapoor on ‘Breakfast with Champions’ in which he spoke very openly about issues other than cricket. The interview wasn’t about his achievements, captaincy and batting, it was more about his personal life, his preferences, his friends, his diet, his fitness regime and other lesser known aspects of personal life.

During the interview, Virat Kohli shared a very funny story which made even MS Dhoni laugh in the middle during a live match.

“I was recently having fun with him (MS Dhoni). There was an ODI against Australia in Kolkata. I remembered something.

When I was the captain of U17 side, I think it was a club match. So if Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) has to bowl, in general cricketing terms I ask him ‘from where’ meaning which end…you don’t even say ‘From which end do you want to bowl?’ So this new guy came into our academy and he was from Najafgarh, I had no idea He used to play well, so he got selected. When it was his turn I passed him the ball and asked him ‘from where’, he responds, brother, Najafgarh. I asked him which end do you want to bowl from? He was so innocent he didn’t understand that I was talking about the end.
