The year 2017 has seen some fantastic bowling performances by some of the best in the world and they have managed to ensure that batsmen do not get carried away with all the perks that they enjoy even otherwise.

Hasan Ali:
Easily the best bowler in the world, he now can prove it too, with the latest ICC ranking placing him on top of the charts for the best bowler. He has taken 56 wickets in just 26 ODIs and is turning into a real match-winner for his country.
Ali also managed to take 13 wickets in the Champions Trophy that was held in England this year and was adjudged the Man of the Tournament. He looks like the real deal and his aggression seems to suit him well. It has been a good year for him and he will look for more next year.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
While he goes about his business quietly, Bhuvneshwar is a fantastic improvement to the bowler he was two years back. He has really worked on his swing bowling and has also added deadly Yorkers and a decent return with the bat as well. Bhuvi has made himself a force to reckon with in international bowling today.
He has found the secret to perfect bowling, and his ability to mix up the deliveries have made him really hard to bat against. He will look to continue this fantastic form for more years.
Imran Tahir:
The South African has been a consistent performer for his country over the past few years and it has meant that he has elevated himself into the top rungs of bowlers in the world for ODIs. Tahir has the ability to spin the ball into a batsman and this makes it very hard to read him.
He also has the knack of getting crucial breakthroughs in games and this has helped him maintain his position as one of the best bowlers in the world for 2017 also.
Kagiso Rabada:
Another fast bowler who has managed to come into his own this year, Kagiso Rabada has a bit of a temper, but does not allow that to affect his bowling performances for South Africa. Rabada has been consistent in 2017.
If Rabada is able to control his aggression and let that show in the way he bowls, it won’t be long before he is a true modern day great.
Rashid Khan:
Rashid Khan is one player who continues to make headlines every day with his superb spin bowling that has batsmen scrambling all over the world. His bamboozling leggies are the ones that really end up hurting batsmen.
He is still only a teenager and is rising up the ranks in world cricket. The young Afghani will look back at 2017 with pride and continue working on his bowling.
