In the ongoing Test match between Bangladesh and Australia, Pat Cummins bowled one of the worst deliverers in the history of the game. Cummins, who is a very good fast bowler, lost the grip of the ball and it went looping towards the point fielder.

It happened in the 67th over of the game when Cummins was bowling to Bangladesh’s Nasir. He came charging in and lost the grip of the ball just a moment before releasing it. Pat Cummins is a very fast bowler and the speed of his arms made the ball travel all the way to points fielder.
It was a very funny moment as Australian players couldn’t hide their laughter and even the umpire was confused. Umpire Nigel Llong seemed confused as to whether to signal a wide or dead ball. However, after consulting with his field partner, it was given a no ball as it was a full toss and way above the waist.
In the match (so far), Pat Cummings has bowled some unplayable deliveries and provided crucial breakthroughs for Australia. But, this delivery will be remembered for a long time as one of the worst deliveries in the history of the game.
Over the years, we have seen some really ‘wild’ wides but this one was something special. It wasn’t wild, it was unbelievable. Pat Cummins himself laughed at the delivery and went back towards his bowling mark. Watch it here:
