The second season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) was given a green signal today at MA Chidambaram Stadium. It was a packed house and the local fans showed great enthusiasm and excitement.
This time, there was a big surprise for the fans as their favourite Thailava MS Dhoni was also present in the stadium. Dhoni, who captained Chennai Super Kings brilliantly for 8 years, was welcomed with a huge roar by the fans in the stadium.
Dhoni’s purpose behind coming was to participate in a six hitting challenge with his former CSK teammate Mathew Hayden. Both, Dhoni and Haydos, took part in the challenge and tried their best to smash big sixes. Dhoni smashed some huge sixes while Haydos, who retired long ago, tried his best to hit the big one in lungi.
Just like Dhoni, Haydos also has a huge fan base in Tamil Nadu. He was a star player for CSK during his playing days. Watch the video here:
