Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh is a very well known actor in Punjabi cinema, but he is more popular for his controversial statements against former Indian captain MS Dhoni, among Indian cricket fans.
Yograj Singh was Yuvraj’s first and it’s stated fact that his role in making what Yuvi is today, is instrumental. Not long ago, Yogiraj’s video in which he used many controversial words against MS Dhoni, went viral on the internet. In that video, Yograj accused Dhoni of spoiling Yuvraj’s career and abused him for playing politics in the dressing room.
Yuvraj Singh, however, immediately distanced himself from his father’s statement and wrote on his Twitter account that he has always enjoyed playing under MS Dhoni and will continue to do so.
But, Yograj Singh is not the one who will change his statements under pressure. He is a very straight forward person, who is known for speaking his mind. In another interview, during the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, Yograj Singh once again said controversial things about MS Dhoni.
When asked about Yuvraj Singh’s comeback, Yograj said that Hazel Keech has played a big role in improving his fitness. He also added that had Dhoni not dropped him, Yuvraj could have played for 3 more years.
Blaming Dhoni, Yograj said that he backstabbed Yuvraj and this is the reason he had to stay from international cricket. After that, Yograj Said many more controversial things about Dhoni and also called him a fixer indirectly.
