Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is once again going through a lean patch as he is struggling to get going and score big runs for India. Yuvraj made a memorable comeback to ODI cricket in the series against England earlier this year and his fans were hopeful that he would go on and score runs more runs for India.
Yuvraj Singh has made just one fifty-plus score in his last 7 matches and the media is asking questions, specially after India’s crushing defeat against Pakistan in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
However, on Sunday, in the second ODI of the ongoing 5-match series against West Indies, did something unusual, which might not have caught the eyes of those glued to the television.
While all other Indian cricketers came out wearing Team India’s official jersey but Yuvi walked out to bat with a jersey that had the Champions Trophy logo printed on it.

It is difficult to say whether Yuvraj wore it intentionally or unknowingly because most of the cricketers are very superstitious and they do such things to change their fortune.
But nothing much changed for Yuvraj even after wearing the different jersey as he failed to make a significant impact with the bat. He scored 14 runs off 10 balls and got out in a very familiar fashion.
During the post-match presentation ceremony, Indian Virat Kohli hinted that changes could be made for the 3rd ODI at Sabina Park on Friday. He didn’t mention any name but we believe young Rishabh Pant will be given a chance.
Earlier in the game, India’s opening batsman Ajinkya Rahane led the charge with bat and scored a brilliant hundred. Rahane was also under a lot of pressure to prove his worth at the top of the order. And he did exactly what was needed. He batted brilliantly, showed great technique and anchored the Indian innings. In the bowling department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and young Kuldeep Yadav were the pick of the bowlers.
