India vs Australia 2017, Fourth Test, Dharamshala: India surprised one and all by including Kuldeep Yadav’s as third spinner for the fourth and final match of the ongoing Test series. After India’s captain was ruled out for the match due to his injured shoulder, fans were thinking that a batsman will place him in the playing XI, but India decided to play with 5 bowlers and gave Kuldeep Yadav his Test cap. And what a move it turned out to be!

Kuldeep Yadav came in for injured skipper Virat Kohli, and soon justified his selection by taking the wickets of David Warner, Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell and Pat Cummins.

After taking his maiden Test wicket, in the form of Warner, the chinaman bowler broke down. Young Kuldeep couldn’t hide his tears and he hugged his captain Ajinkya Rahane. It was a very emotional moment for Yadav and entire Team India and their millions of fans watching the game across the globe.

For the record, Kuldeep Yadav is India’s first left arm chinaman bowler to play Test cricket, and only the second from the subcontinent after Lakshan Rangika of Sri Lanka.
