India vs Australia 2017, Third Test, Ranchi: David Warner’s wife Candice Warner took strong objection to Team India “not applauding” Steve Smith’s hundred in the first innings of the ongoing third Test at JSCA stadium in Ranchi.

Steve Smith batted brilliantly and played one of the best knocks of his Test career so far. The Australian captain batted for 361 balls and and remained not out on 178 at the end of Australia’s innings. Smith could have scored a double hundred but he kept losing partners at the other end and was left alone in the end by his teammates.

David Warner’s wife Candice Warner used very harsh words against India because, according to her, they didn’t applaud Steve Smith’s hundred. When a Sports Blog named Sports Sunday asked her on Twitter that “Were the Indians wrong not to applaud Steve Smith’s century” she replied by saying “Absolutely!! Obviously sportsmanship isn’t high on their values and means nothing to them.”

But she got a cracking reply from an Indian who asked her a ‘good’ advice to safeguard David Warner’s values. This is what he tweeted:

If we are so bad, please tell David to cancel his IPL contract. Safeguard his high “values”.
