Yuvraj Singh gave a good all-round performance against Railways in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. Railways batted first and scored 249 runs in their quota of 50 overs. In reply, Punjab, despite a few hiccups, chased the target in 49.1 overs and sealed a much-needed victory in the tournament. Now, if they win the last two matches, Punjab will still have a chance to qualify for the knock-out stages.

India’s swashbuckling all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was at his all-round best in the match. Yuvi first took 2 wickets for just 35 runs with the ball and scored 66 runs with the bat. Yuvraj’s good form is a very good sign for his IPL franchise Sun Risers Hyderabad. ‘The Comeback King’ made an unforgettable comeback to ODI cricket in the series against England, in which he scored the highest individual score of his ODI career. In the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, Yuvraj has been the ‘impact’ player for Punjab and he would be keen on making it big in the IPL and more importantly in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, which is scheduled to take place after the tenth edition of IPL.
