New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson is a very handy part-time bowler. In the first ODI of the ongoing series between New Zealand and South Africa, Williamson bowled a double bouncer to Proteas’ Quinton de Kock but luckily for him, de Kock wasn’t able to put it away and it resulted in a dot ball.
It was a very funny moment on the field because we rarely get to see a double bouncer in international cricket Even Williamson couldn’t stop himself from laughing but he was happy that it resulted in a dot ball.
“It was quite effective today!” Williamson joked. “I clipped my leg and I didn’t want to let go of it.
“But it was a dot ball – that’s the main thing!”
