Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim is having a horrid time behind the stumps in the ongoing Test match between India and Bangladesh in Hyderabad. Rahim has made a couple of horrible DRS calls already and he hasn’t been all that clean behind the stumps.
In the first session of Day 1, Rahim missed a few half chances and made a DRS call which will go down as one of the worst in the history of the game. Virat Kohli played a good looking forward defence and Rahim, without consulting any of his teammates, asked for a review and the replay showed that the ball hit the middle of Kohli’s bat and it was nowhere close to his pads.
On Day 2, Rahim missed a very easy stumping chance and Wriddhiman Saha got a lifeline to build his innings and put India in an even stronger position. Saha went for a slog but missed it completely and it went straight to Mushfiqur, who couldn’t take the bails off even in two attempts. It looked very funny in the end. Watch it here:
