India’s captain Virat Kohli once again proved to the world why he is called the best batsman in world cricket, across all three formats of the game. On day 1 of the one-off Test match against Bangladesh in Hyderabad, Virat Kohli came in to bat at number 4 and made batting look easy with his solid technique and flamboyant style.
With due respect, Bangladesh’s bowling attack isn’t the best in the world and Kohli made them look very ordinary with his astute shot selection. Kohli batted with a positive frame of mind and played attacking shots right from the moment he took the guard. But, specially in the last few overs of the day, Kohli turned the heat on and smashed Bangladeshi bowlers all around the park and scored 16th hundred of his Test career.
At the end of day’s play, Kohli was batting on 111 off 141 balls with Ajinkya Rahane. To reach his hundred, Virat Kohli played a good looking flick shot and celebrated his 16th Test hundred in style with his arms up in the air and acknowledging the crowd. Watch it here:
