Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly heaped praises on Virat Kohli after his brilliant performance in the recently concluded fourth Test of the ongoing series against England. Virat’s personal form has been outstanding but even as a captain, he has made some very good decisions and led India very well in the last 4 series.

Ganguly has always been a big supporter and admirer of Virat Kohli, but after his recent performances against England, Dada has been heaping praises on Kohli. At Sourav Ganguly Foundation and Sourav Ganguly Cricket School launch, Dada gave a small byte on Kohli.

“His aggression is two-times more than mine,” Sourav Ganguly told reporters on the sidelines of the Sourav Ganguly Foundation and Sourav Ganguly Cricket School launch.

Sourav Ganguly is regarded as one of India’s greatest captains. It was under his captaincy that India started winning Test matches abroad. Many great players like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan and others, flourished under Dada’s captaincy. Ganguly was aggressive as a captain and he always youngsters a free hand to express themselves.

So, coming from Dada himself, this statement would surely mean a lot to Virat Kohli. The whole world is hailing Virat for his consistency. In the year 2016, Virat Kohli has scored 3 double-hundreds and averages 50+ across all three formats of the game.

Kohli also became the first Indian captain to win five successive Test series — 2-1 vs Sri Lanka in 2015; 3-0 vs South Africa in 2015-16; 2-0 vs West Indies in 2016; 3-0 vs New Zealand and 3-0 (leading) vs England in 2016-17.
