Former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad said in an interview that Shahid Afridi is a fixer who he sold many matches for money. In the last few days, Miandad and Afridi shared a few heated words, but in his latest interview to a Pakistani news channel, Javed Miandad took the war of words to a new level altogether by calling Shahid Afridi a match-fixer who sold international matches.
Earlier, Miandad had said that Pakistan Cricket Board shouldn’t give a ‘farewell’ match to Shahid Afridi as the game is always bigger than any individual. In reply, Shahid Afridi criticised this statement by Miandad and called him a ‘money-minded’ person.
