Misbah-Ul-Haq played a brilliant knock on day 1 of the first Test of the ingoing series between England and Pakistan, at Lord’s. Misbah came in to bat at number 4 and scored his 10th Test century and first at Lord’s. It was a typical Mishbah-Ul-Haq innings as he had to grind it out and battle hard for his runs. By scoring a ton on his debut at Lord’s, he also entered the illustrious list of being the 6th oldest Test player to score a ton at the age of 42 years. After reaching his century, Misbah celebrated in a unique style by doing pushups in the grounds to show the cricketing arena his fitness and justify the old saying that ‘age does not matter’.
