Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan had a mixed international career for India. Irfan, who was known for his ability to swing the new ball was quite a popular face among his female fans. Pathan was one of the few Indian cricketers from that era who was highly admired due to his looks and innocent looking face.
He was so popular among his female fans that even after announcing his retirement in January 2020, fans continue to send their love and good wishes to the Indian all-rounder. In one of the latest fan encounters, one of the female fans reveals her true love that began during the India-Pakistan ODI series in 2005-06.

The arch-rivals featured in a two-match drawn ODI series in UAE where Irfan Pathan was at his imperious best in making the ball talk in both the ODIs. Pathan even played a crucial role in India’s win at Abu Dhabi with a three-wicket haul. Post India’s win in the second ODI, Pathan’s fan got an opportunity to meet her love as he shared her experience in a series of a tweet posted on the Social media platform.
She revealed how relaxed security allowed people to take a look of some of their favourite cricket stars from closed quarters. She said that after the presentation, the gates were opened and anyone could just walk in that area. In her next tweet, the fan also mentioned how she requested people around her to call Pathan but upon their refusal, she shouted his name before the all-rounder came to greet his name with autographs and pictures.
She could easily recall how Pathan called her separately and gave an autograph and even obliged her with a picture.
