When India defeated Australia in the third T20I on Sunday, they became the first team in 140 years to whitewash Australia in their own backyard. It was a much-needed win for India as they looked second best in the ODI series and an ‘Aussie whitewash’ was just the right ironic going into the all-impotant T20, which India will host next month.
