VIDEO: Colin Munro scores the second fastest fifty of T20I cricket

New Zealand’s opening batsman Colin Munro smashed the second fastest fifty in T20I cricket, in the second T20I against Sri Lanka on Sunday. Chasing a target of 142 runs in 20 overs, Munro got New Zealand off to a cracking start. Munro reached his fifty off just 14 balls and now holds the record for the fastest fifty by a Kiwi batsman in T20I cricket, and second fastest overall, only behind India’s Yuvraj Singh  who scored fifty off just 12 balls in 2007 T20 World Cup. Munro hit one four along with his seven maximums to finish unbeaten on exactly 50. Watch Colin Munro’s record-breaking innings here:
