If you sledge Sachin he’ll smile and hit you for a boundary.. But if u sledge Ganguly you get some words and a six as well, this case is a fine example of why you shouldn’t sledge Saurav Ganguly on the cricket field.

During the sixth one day international of the 7 match odi series between England and India in England, Stuart Broad tried to frustrate Ganguly by  sledging but what happen after this became a part of history. Stuart Broad was the bowler bowling the nineth over and the batsman on strike was Sachin Tendulkar,Sachin after not being able to score of the first two balls scored a single of the third and now the batsman on strike was Saurav Ganguly who smashed the first ball he faced for a four but was not able to hit the next two balls anywhere. After completing his over Stuart Broad tried to infuriate Ganguly by passing some comments, the left hander reacted by walking towards Broad, shaking his head while the commentators tried to describe the scene in the best way possible, and the umpire Aleem Dar also came in between the players just to calm the things down. The next time when Broad came to bowl was in the 11th over and the batsman on strike was again Saurav Ganguly who smashed a superb six of the very first ball of the over, this incident gave Stuart Broad a tough lesson which he would never forget.
